Service purpose
hopr lets registered users send and receive USDG on Ethereum using their X username as the payment handle.
By using hopr you agree to these Terms.
Identification by X
Your X account is the identity for your hopr account. You may only register the X account you control.
Attempting to use hopr under a username or X account you do not control is prohibited.
Wallet custody
hopr provides you with a server-custodied spend wallet. Private keys are stored encrypted and are not exposed to you or your browser.
You are responsible for your registered receiving address. Send USDG to the correct address you control.
Recovering funds sent to an incorrect address is not guaranteed.
Private settlement
Payments settle as private shielded transactions on the Ethereum network.
Settlement depends on network conditions and may take time to confirm.
Balances and statuses shown reflect the real on-chain state of your account.
Prohibited use
You may not use hopr for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate fraud, money laundering or any activity that violates applicable law.
Attempting to spoof identity, double-spend, or interfere with another user's payments is prohibited.
No financial advice
hopr is a software payment tool. It is not a bank, broker or provider of financial advice.
Digital assets are volatile. You are responsible for your own decisions.
Limitation of liability
hopr provides the service on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis and is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from its use, to the extent permitted by law.
This limitation applies to network failures, delays, or any issue outside hopr's reasonable control.
Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time.
